How To Guide: JTECH-WEX300 (JTD-426) – Wireless HDMI Extender

The JTECH-WEX300 (JTD-426) allows users to wirelessly extend their HDMI signal up to 500ft*. The unit supports 1 Transmitter to 1 Receiver, and automatically scans and operates on unoccupied channels within the 5GHz wireless band. The JTECH-WEX300 supports up to 1080P video resolution at 60Hz, Stereo audio format, and IR remote extension

*Note: 500ft distance can be achieved if both the transmitter and the receiver are within direct line of sight. Distance may be less depending on the environment

Setup:

*Note: The transmitter and receiver within the box are paired by default

**Note: If necessary, users can manually pair the transmitter and receiver by holding down the “Pair” button on both units at the same time for 5-6 seconds

1. Connect the provided antennas to both the transmitter and the receiver
2. Connect the provided power adapters to both the transmitter and the receiver
3. Connect the transmitter to the source device (Blu-ray player, cable box etc.) using an HDMI cable
4. Connect the receiver to the display using an HDMI cable
5. Connect the IR emitter to the transmitter and the IR receiver to the receiver unit of the extender set (This optional feature can be used by users who would like to control their source device from the display’s location via the source device’s IR remote control)
6. Verify that the source is outputting a resolution that is compatible with the extenders
