Overview:

The JTECH-SWE41 is a 4X1 HDMI switch and audio extractor that supports 18Gbps 4K@60Hz. This unit allows you to connect 4 different HDMI source devices i.e. (Cable Boxes, Roku, Apple TV, Blue Ray disc etc.) to a signal display. Customer will have a high-quality experience with this switch as it also supports HDR10 from any 4k source device. Another great feature this unit has is the ARC function. This function can be used by connecting to the ARC (Audio return Channel) port on the TV and connect to the Audio output port on the switch using the Auxiliary to optical converter. Optical converter must be used in order to use the ARC Function. Customer must turn the ARC Function button (On) on either the front panel of the unit or on the IR remote control. Experience the highest quality formats from analog/digital output of the switch with the supported formats: PCM2.1/5.1CH, Dolby 5.1, DTS 5.1.

Application:

• Connect up to 4 HDMI source devices via an HDMI cable to the HDMI Input ports on the Unit.
• Connect a HDTV or Monitor to the HDMI output port. Use the L/R Port or Optical Audio output to send audio signal to Sound System or Speakers.
• For PC control connect via RS232 to USB.
• Unit also comes with IR connector for IR remote control.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. If No Video Signal:

• Test the HDMI cables - Ensure that the connectors are snug inside the ports
• Power cycle the unit - Unplug all connections from the unit and let it sit idle for 5 minutes before connecting the connections back
• Test the unit with different sources to verify if the issue is persistent 
• Check Resolution/Refresh Rate from the input device ensure that it is compatible with the device

2. If No Audio Signal:

• Check Analog/Optical Adapter is connected properly
• Verify Audio Format on the Source-If using RCA, Audio Format on source must be set to stereo. If using 3.5mm, ensure that the audio format on the source device is set to "Stereo". If using the optical adapter, the audio format on the source device can be either "Stereo" or standard "Dolby Digital". (Dolby Digital Plus is not supported).
